Maintenance Worker I/II



Job Description

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with administrative responsibilities and requires contact with the public. The Maintenance Worker II position directly assists the Association’s Chief Executive Officer in the maintenance of the Association’s property, building and grounds.

Job Description

This is a non-exempt position, not to exceed 300 hours annually without prior approval of the Association’s Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for administrative responsibilities, coordinating exhibit hall set-up/break-down, and requires contact with the exhibitors and the public.

Seasonal Laborer



Job Description

This is a Temporary, Seasonal non-exempt position, not to exceed 960 hours annually. This position assists the Association’s Maintenance II position in a variety of manual labor and maintenance activities of the Association’s property, building and grounds during the annual Humboldt County Fair.

Assistant Office Manager



Job Description

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with administrative responsibilities and requires contact with the public. This position assists the Association’s Office Manager in the maintenance of the Association’s contracts, financial and payroll records.

Large Animal Superintendent




Job Description

Review and provide recommended updates the HCFA Exhibitor Guide as needed. Coordinate judges, shows, livestock weigh-in, barn layout, round robins, livestock camping, awards, sanction paperwork for shows, volunteer staff, and entry day veterinarian inspection. Responsible for communication with exhibitors and families.

Small Animal Superintendent




Job Description

Review and provide recommended updates the HCFA Exhibitor Guide as needed. Coordinate judges, shows, and ribbons/awards for Youth and Open events. Complete required sanction paperwork by required deadlines. Prepare stall cards and barn layout, coordinate small animal vet checks, prepare small animal weigh-in. Report market-ready birds to Junior Livestock Auction Committee for sale order, small animal round-robin, and communicate with exhibitors and families.
